A Quiet Weekend All Alone

This past weekend  it was just me and Molly, alone at home. Adam was away for three nights and I can't remember the last time I was alone for so long, with very few plans and nothing much to do but... whatever I wanted!

I made sure to plan it. I was only going to eat what I wanted, watch whatever movie I wanted and do as few chores as possible.

I finally decorated the wall over our desk with a wreath and some ceramic feathers I bought in Switzerland ages and ages ago. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out, though I'm not sure about the colour of washi tape I used.

I started a new knitting project, my first snood! I picked this wool up in November and it's a beautiful turquoise, chunky alpaca yarn, it's so soft and such a dreamy colour. I can't wait until it's done. If you're interested I'm using this free pattern from Loop, which is also where I bought the yarn.

I also spent a lot of time reading through my Kinfolk Table cookbook, it's so beautiful and reads like a novel. Oh and I clearly also spent some time playing around with the timer button on my camera.

I did get out and about too, I walked Molly a lot, met up with some friends and went to Hawker House (again. but, yum), played photographer at my very first photo shoot, and skyped with some of my favourite people living far far away.

It was such a lovely weekend, keeping myself company.
