Weekends like this one are the kind of weekend that make you sit up and say "more please!".

Our friend Kim pretty much lived at our flat all weekend, and I loved it! I've always wanted to live in a place where friends come and go, and hang around for as long as they want whenever they want. We cooked and watched movies, and mostly just hung around and talked.

We also went for dinner on Saturday night to L'Entrepôt with Kim and our friends Jon and Lauren, and I haven't laughed so much in ages. We were sat by the door and when Jake Gyllenhaal walked in we amused ourselves with the idea of anonymously sending him a complimentary rice pudding. I'm afraid we were THAT table, but sometimes you just have to go through a couple of bottles of wine, laugh until your belly hurts and tears stream down your face. We eventually headed home to hang out in the fort and carry on the party.

Sunday was all about baking and watching some favourite films. We took down the living room fort, which made me a little sad, but it had to be done. It was up for over a month! We hung some new curtains which I brought back from India, and it was really lovely to let the light in. I baked a zucchini loaf and a lemon and ginger loaf, and we drank tea after tea while talking about Kim's dating life and the pressures of living and working in London.

Adam and I also did a photoshoot with Jo, which was a lot of fun. She was so good to work with and was great with Adam who is not very comfortable in front of the camera.  We also spent some time eating street food in Netil Market and browsing through the vintage stalls.

It was one of those packed weekends that still manage to feel relaxing. And it made me feel really grateful for amazing friends. More please! What did you get up to this weekend?
