Taking a day off in the middle of the week is just the best thing ever. Taking a day off in the middle of the week to spend time with one of your best blogger pals is just a dream!
Rosie and I have been making plans for at least a month to explore a part of London she has never been to before. We decided on Brick Lane because it's a great place to visit during the week when it's quiet-ish, and it's a fun place to browse the vintage shops - even if the prices are just crazy.
I had one coffee too many along the way which made me just far too excitable. It's ok though because Rosie is one of the best people to be excitable with. We stopped off for chocolate while weaving in and out of the shops heading up Brick Lane, and then made our way to Broadway Market so that I could introduce her to Franco Manca - yes I ate yet another pizza. I'm starting to wonder if Franco Manca coming to London Fields was such a good idea...
We had grand plans to go for cake and maybe a little more shopping, but we just went back to the flat to hang out with Molly in the living room fort. We got carried away talking and drinking tea, and before we knew it the afternoon had come and gone.
Why is it that the more fun your having, the faster time just disappears?
Happy Friday, and I hope you have a lovely weekend.x
