Lots of Sleep and Sunshine

Long, deep sleeps and sunshine, really that's all it takes to keep me happy. We got a bit of both this weekend and it was marvelous. Our garden has really come out in full bloom this week and it's amazing to wake up every morning and see the wisteria swaying in the wind or the rain tapping it's way across the surface of the pond. This weekend we have taken it really slow, I haven't been up to much and Molly has been sick again, so Adam has been running around taking care of both of us like a real hero.

But some exciting moments have been when I finally found that pair of boyfriend jeans I have been looking for for oh so long. Thank you H&M - or Hennies as my friend Jessie calls it which I think sounds much better. Boyfriend jeans are the way forward, comfortable and flattering is a winning combo in my book. I also got a fun black playsuit from Top Shop, maybe it's time for another fashion post?

We got to watch three episodes of Poirot, which may sound like torture to some but I think it's amazing. Last night we went to Walthamstow to see our friends Tom and Clara, we sat outside a brewery and there were kids actually running around and playing in the parking lot outside. I can't remember the last time I saw kinds out playing in the street, I used to do it all the time when I was little. We also got to do a bit of a spring clean today, well Adam did most of it because I'm a bit useless at the moment, but it's been so nice to have the windows open and the laundry hanging outside.

I also made a start on two new exciting projects I've got coming up! One to come sooner than the other, but both are just the most exciting things.

Happy times and sunny days!

*for those of you who don't know, the garden belongs to our landlord and we are lucky enough to share it with them, but we can't take any credit for its beauty or its upkeep*
