The five moments that made my week:
The moment I saw Stephen Fry preform at Shakespeare's Globe Theater in Twelfth Night. Now, I'm not a theater connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, nor do I particularly understand what Shakespeare is going on about half the time... but the fact that I love everything Stephen Fry and that that this play was amazing, combined to make this possibly the best theater experience of my life (uncomfortable wooden seats, obstructed view, and all.)
The moment I took a minute to appreciate London in all her glory.
The moment I unpacked my winter jumpers. I love unpacking a new season of clothing, it feels like going shopping but without the guilt. And when those clothes mean being cozy and warm, well that just makes it even better.
The moment I got a new polish put on at the beginning of the week (I couldn't bring myself to splash out on a full manicure) and it is still going strong five days later! Either the lady who did it is very talented, or I have learned to be more ladylike in my hand gestures, but un-chipped polish after nearly a week is unheard of for me.
The moment this little doll defected from her native Hungary and stowed away in my carry-on. Isn't she lovely?
My favorite blog post this week was "25 reasons why Autumn is wonderful" by Vic over on Frankly Vic. I was feeling all blue about the weather growing colder, but this post reminded me of everything wonderful about being chilly. It definitely made me smile and put a bit of a spring in my step.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Oh, and p.s., does anyone have a button they would like to swap with me? My Sponsors column could do with a bit of filling out.
